Dr. Rachel Ann Behling currently serves as a Senior Director of IT at Honeywell, while also working on the Doctorate team at Grand Canyon University. Her expertise spans IT, Women in Tech, ITSM management, organization and change management, and more. She's a noted: Successful Optimistic Realist, culture leader. And she believes that time management and organizational change adoption are her super powers.
She obtained her BS from DeVry Institute of Technology and her MBA from University of Phoenix. Rachel's Doctoral Degree is from Grand Canyon University with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership and Development. Rachel’s professional background has always been one of leadership and development, Rachel raised her three children in Southern California area. From there, she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona.
She has worked for organizations such as GCU, Panda Express, Jamba Juice, and has been in multiple industries spanning from hospitality, transportation, higher education, aerospace, supplier governance and currently as Sr. Director of IT Service Management at Honeywell. She is also a professor in the College of Doctoral Studies at GCU and a Residency staff and Dissertation Chair. She enjoys being associated with the college and was the Co-Founder of the DC Cohort, which is a support group for doctoral learners providing professional development and support through each stage of the doctoral process.
Rachel enjoys international travel, the outdoors, and is an avid marathon runner. She also mountain bikes most weekends with her husband and travels to cities across the United States to run in every marathon imaginable.
